This is the class for you!

By the end of this six week course, you'll confidently capture photos using your camera in manual mode. This beginner-level class has no prerequisites and is designed to help you understand the fundamentals of manual photography. We’ll focus on aperture, shutter speed and ISO, and explore how mastering these settings can unleash your creativity. Ages 14+. Small class size means individualized attention.

 

What you need for class:

-You will need a DSLR or mirrorless camera that has settings you can change. FStops/Aperture, Shutter Speed and ISO settings. You will bring the camera to class every week as we learn about the settings you will become more comfortable with your camera. If you are unsure if your camera will work email me [email protected] with your make and model of camera and I will try to find out for you.

-You will need to know how to export your photos to your computer (or phone) at home, so you can email me your work.

-You will need a small notebook and pen to bring to class to take notes. I will also be sharing notes with you.

 

Class Dates - All Saturdays 10:00-12:00

1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, 2/15  **Please be sure you can attend most classes. You will be given notes for all classes, but miss a class and miss a lot of info.
